A Wishful Debt - Poem #1

 A Wishful Debt

Is the new view enthralling?
Or is the view I see a regret?
Would I call it a door to the other end?
Or would I rather call it an end?

Do I often explode inside;
While staring at my own strange silhouette?
It seldom is hard to discover where I belong,
But not moving heaven & earth is a wishful debt.

The empty roles I play,
Set a stage for succeeding threat.
I move, I act, I manifest;
It's the perspective, not a story to reject.

While chartering the misery,
Attain the wisdom I always meant.
Why avert the impending circumstance?
When I cannot unsee the dream I dreamt.

I watch myself standing ashore,
It's the place I never had ever left.
Floating far & away through it all;
Will I ever break through this eternal quest?

  9. Firstly, I would like to admire the Author for her efforts in composing this magnificent piece of literary work...Indubitably, any piece of literary work especially writing a poem requires vigorous effort and endurance! Each word has been carefully selected and amazingly constructed! The tone of the Author is apparently
    self- obsessed as the author is repeatedly questioning herself. However readers can pick up any lines from this and relate it to their story... As far as me, I would rather pick up the last stanza of this poem for in that I clearly see the reflection of majority of my thoughts and I genuinely thank the Author for creating especially these last lines where I can see myself standing at this point .... I urge you to write more and more! Wish you all the best!
