Leadership - The most desired power every individual wants to attain. But you know what? Leadership is something which is not attained; it is already inside you waiting to be unleashed. Every one of us is born a leader. YES. All of us have a leader hidden inside us. It just doesn’t show up because our fears are stronger than the leader inside. You cannot demonstrate the ‘leader’ because your fears don’t allow you to. But the truth is true leaders do not believe in their fears, they believe in themselves. They don’t let their fears overpower their confidence, after all confidence always wins.

Fears are as light as feathers only when you

 have the courage to blow them away.

Talking about fears, fears are omnipresent. They are present everywhere. Every time we decide to get up and voice our opinions and word out what we feel about things they are always there to grab us and pull us down to sit. DO NOT LET YOUR FEARS WIN. Get up and just go for it. Confidence speaks louder than words and is stronger in the room. Confidence tends to receive more attention and naturally gets more validations. A person is perceived on the attitudes and confidence he/she carries. So, wash away your fears, display high energy, stay humble and there you have it!

Staying Humble? You may think why? The fact is most people perceive leadership as “Spotlight”. Leadership is not about being recognized. It is about recognizing what is right. Leadership is not craving for appreciation. It is about appreciating. Leadership is not about being hungry for credit. It is about acknowledging efforts of others. Leadership is not about expressing authority, it is about delegating authority. A true leader creates more leaders whereas an ordinary leader falls prey to disrespect and disloyalty. Being a leader is easy but becoming the right leader is hard. When people choose you as their leader just know they trust you and when you assume you are a leader just know that you are fooling yourself.

Raise a leader in you to whom the power is handed

but not the one who craves for it.

All of us understand “With great power comes great responsibility”. But what about the arrogance that accompanies it? When power is given to the hands it shall not affect the mind. Everything relies on what we feed our minds.

            When you are deserving of leadership it will knock the door at the right time. Are you ready to let it in? Battling fears should become a passion. Everything around us will become extremely joyous and thrilling. Gaining experience with fun even in tough situations will take us a long way. Time doesn’t wait and neither do opportunities so get up, decide and stand for yourself. Believe the leader living inside you and give the chance for it to grow. Raise it stronger and powerful. Let your fears know that they are not worth the hesitation of letting your leadership out. The world needs good leaders.
